We are seeking social instructors for the child welfare family rehabilitation team for the outpatient substance abuse rehabilitation of families with young children. In accordance with the strategic focus areas of Helsinki's child welfare and family social work, we are developing and strengthening the baby team's working group of child welfare outpatient family rehabilitation with four new social instructor positions to develop a new service. Family rehabilitation includes 24-hour services and outpatient family rehabilitation. In the multidisciplinary outpatient family rehabilitation working group, two teams work, one of which has expertise specialized in baby work (Baby Team) and the other has expertise specialized in neuropsychiatric symptoms (Nepsy Team). Family rehabilitation is led by the head of family rehabilitation, and the services provided by family rehabilitation are part of the Child Welfare and Family Social Work Services unit. As a social instructor for the outpatient substance abuse rehabilitation of families with young children, your most important task in addition to substance abuse rehabilitation is to support parenthood and early interaction. The operation will be developed within the framework of community rehabilitation and family-specific work. Work is based on the client plan prepared by the social worker responsible for the child's affairs. Part of your duties is to document the client work performed in the client information system. Rehabilitation periods last on average 6-18 months. The operation is located in the Oulunkylä Family Rehabilitation Center. You do not have to manage alone at work, as client work is done in a community. In addition, you are supported by, among others, the baby team's leading instructor, colleagues, and regular group supervision. Cooperation with the social worker responsible for the child's affairs and other networks is part of your work. Eligibility requirement: University of Applied Sciences degree (Sosionomi AMK) in accordance with the Act on Social Care Professionals 817/2015 (Section 8). The position requires registration in the professional register of the License and Supervision Authority (formerly Valvira). Language requirement is good oral and written skill in Finnish. The person selected for the position must present a certificate regarding a drug test to the employer before the employment relationship begins. Before the selection decision, the applicant must present an assessment from occupational health care on their ability to perform the tasks included in the work. The position requires vaccination protection in accordance with Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act and a tuberculosis investigation in accordance with Section 55. The position requires the presentation of a criminal record extract (Act on the investigation of the criminal background of persons working with children 504/2002). In addition, we require experience in child welfare and family social work, as well as substance abuse work.
