We are looking for a development-oriented service coordinator for the youth clients team in the disability client guidance unit for a fixed-term position from 19.8.2026 to 3.1.2027. The work of the service coordinator in the youth clients team of the disability client guidance unit focuses on the service need assessment and decision-making work of disabled clients aged 16-34 in Vantaa and Kerava. As a service coordinator, you assess the service needs of our clients, prepare service plans, and make decisions on whether the requested services can be granted to our client in accordance with current legislation. Before making a decision, you familiarize yourself with the client's situation, carry out extensive network cooperation, and often work with the clients' relatives. In addition to office work, you make home visits and meet clients via remote connections if necessary. Client work is done on a 'self-worker' principle, utilizing pair and team work. The work requires an independent and solution-oriented approach, good interaction skills, and good oral and written proficiency in Finnish. Experience in disability social work and the Apotti client information system, as well as familiarity with the laws guiding our operations, are considered an advantage. Our work community consists of teams for guidance, children, youth, adults, housing, and mobility support. We have service coordinators, special social guides, and social workers. We also cooperate a lot across team boundaries and share expertise. There is a good spirit in our work community and help is always available. Position-specific salary: 3187.75 eur/month, plus a possible addition based on previous work experience.
