We are now seeking a BI developer for Insta Advance's Digital unit to build modern data and reporting solutions as part of diverse customer projects. As a BI developer, you will work as part of Insta Advance's data team on projects that build modern data platforms and reporting solutions, especially for industry and critical infrastructure needs. Your work will involve developing Power BI reports, participating in data modeling and data warehouse development, and working closely with clients and project teams. The role emphasizes a consultative approach: you will participate in defining client needs and help build effective reporting and data management practices, such as report publishing, data ownership, and overall management. You will work primarily with Power BI, SQL, and Microsoft Fabric. Additionally, we utilize modern data warehouse and lakehouse solutions, as well as star schema modeling. Depending on your interests and skills, you may also work on Power Apps solutions, Python-based data development, AI solutions, or broader data platform projects. The position is full-time and permanent, and the employment contract will be with Biisoni. The work location is in Tampere at Finlayson, and we expect you to work at the office at least a few times a month. What do we expect from you? You have at least a few years of experience in BI development and practical skills in building Power BI solutions. You also have proficiency in SQL and understand data warehouse modeling, for example, from a star schema perspective. Experience with governance practices in reporting solutions and the ability to discuss client needs related to reporting, data ownership, and solution implementation are valued. Broader knowledge of data solutions and low-code development is also a plus. Success in this role requires fluent Finnish language skills and good English skills. We also value a consultative work style, good interaction skills, and the ability to actively operate at the client interface. Additionally, we expect you to be able to grasp overall concepts and find practical solutions to client needs. A basic security clearance, including an investigation of foreign connections, will be conducted for the selected candidate. Why us? The salary range for the position is approximately €4,500–6,500 per month, with the final salary determined based on experience and skills. Interested?
