Production Worker - Biisoni Oy - Helsinki, Finland

GTP Finland Oy (formerly Tikomet Oy) specializes in recycling hard metals using a zinc process. The production facility is located in Jyväskylä's Seppälänkangas. Last fiscal year, our turnover was about 78 million euros, and we have 50 professionals in the hard metals industry. We are part of the international Plansee Group, the largest tungsten producer in the West and a leading recycler of hard metals. GTP Finland Oy is a globally significant and respected player in the field, committed to environmentally responsible recycling. As a production worker, you will work as part of our production team in the recycling process of hard metals. Your daily tasks include handling and preparing materials for the production process, operating and monitoring production equipment such as furnaces. You will also participate in material transfers and handling of finished products and materials produced during manufacturing. You will work in a modern environment with forklifts and cranes, either alone or with a partner, emphasizing initiative, responsibility, and decision-making skills. The role requires precision, carefulness, and a responsible attitude, as the materials handled are demanding, and quality work is crucial for product quality and smooth production. Full training will be provided. The work is shift-based, either continuous three-shift or two-shift, with 12-hour shifts (6-18 and 18-6) in the three-shift system, or mainly 6-14 and 14-22 in two-shift work, with potential expansion to three shifts. We seek a proactive and responsible individual with several years of experience in production or similar practical work, preferably with industrial environment experience. The position is full-time, fixed-term until the end of February 2027, with a salary of 16.54 €/h plus shift allowances according to the collective agreement.
