Job Description
We are looking for a customer-oriented and development-minded service worker for Meilahti Tower Hospital for a permanent position. HUS Support Services, officially called Runkopalvelut, is responsible for ensuring the hospital has the best possible conditions for patient care. As a service worker, you will handle two different types of tasks. These include ward maintenance and logistics tasks. Ward maintenance tasks include hospital catering, cleaning, and maintenance services. The work is varied and diverse, and success is supported by a service-minded attitude, good teamwork skills, and an enthusiastic and positive approach to work. Logistics tasks consist of ordering supplies, transportation, restocking, inventory management, and patient transportation within the hospital environment. Eligibility requirements for the position Suitable secondary vocational education or relevant work experience If suitable and qualified applicants are lacking, the employer may hire a person with sufficient experience in the field for a fixed term. We require vaccination against infectious diseases for those working in customer and patient areas, and health status verification for those working in healthcare units regarding tuberculosis and salmonella.
