We are looking for assistant excavator operators for earthworks sites in Helsinki, Vantaa, and Espoo. The position offers diverse tasks in various infrastructure and earthworks projects. Previous experience in the field is an advantage, but the most important qualities are a motivated attitude, willingness to learn, and readiness to work as part of a team. Working hours and contract durations vary depending on the project. The tasks mainly involve assisting the excavator operator and practical site work. Responsibilities include finishing excavations, assisting with cable trenches, monitoring measurements and levels according to instructions, ensuring site safety, and other earthworks support tasks. The work is practical and physical, with tasks varying by project. Success in the role requires initiative, precision, and the ability to work safely on construction sites. We value a positive attitude, responsibility, and a desire to learn practical earthworks skills. Requirements include a valid occupational safety card, Finnish language skills, and an enthusiastic attitude. Preferred qualifications include experience in earthworks or construction, a driver’s license, and ability to read drawings and monitor measurements.
