Job Description
Would you like to help build a future success story in technical wholesale and take the business to a new level? We are now looking for an ambitious, commercially strong, and development-driven Business Development Manager to strengthen our Telecom and Data segment. Your role with us You will play a central role in growing and developing Ahlsell's own brands in the Telecom and Data segment. You will be responsible for strategic business development, strengthening market position, and building growth in new customer segments. In your role, you will be a regional development leader: developing and expanding business purposefully, opening new opportunities, and expanding operations into new industries. Key responsibilities Develop the Telecom and Data segment's business and increase market share Lead sales and profitability development and ensure target achievement Identify and build new business opportunities together with our regional sales teams Actively monitor results and analyze profitability Expand business into new industries and customer segments Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure a unified market approach Be active at the customer interface and represent our brands Develop the sales organization’s skills and ensure that our brands are a key part of our customer offering Why is this role important? Your role is central to implementing Ahlsell’s 2030 strategy – you will have a direct impact on how we build future growth. You will develop one of our most important business areas and play a crucial role in strengthening our position and growing our business in Finland. Your success will be measured by tangible results such as sales and margin growth, development of customer interactions, and effective use of CRM. We hope you have Relevant technical or commercial education Experience in project sales, technical trade, or construction Industry knowledge of the telecom and data segment is an advantage Strong commercial thinking and sales orientation Ability to analyze business and develop profitability Self-driven and goal-oriented work approach Excellent communication and negotiation skills Fluent Finnish and English language skills Energetic team player who values a proactive attitude. Your workplace will be at Ahlsell’s office in the Helsinki metropolitan area or Tampere. Your responsibility area covers the whole of Finland.
