Nordic leader in technical wholesale is now seeking a skilled sales manager for the Eastern Finland region. Are you looking for the next step in your career as a sales manager? Job description: As a Regional Sales Director, you will be responsible for the strategic and tactical management, development, and expansion of business operations in Eastern Finland. Your tasks include planning customer-oriented sales, guiding development, and growing customer relationships across the region. This role requires strategic thinking, effective team leadership, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with stakeholders. You will play a key role in supporting the sales team and promoting ethical practices as part of our culture. You will encourage the team to think innovatively, pursue continuous learning, and foster a collaborative culture. The Regional Sales Director leads all sales activities across our industries within their area. More about the role: The Regional Sales Director is responsible for the results and success of their region! They allocate the regional budget to team and store levels, oversee the development and implementation of operational plans, and monitor progress. The director leads sales efforts, tracks goal achievement, and manages personnel within the region, including resourcing and leadership. Regularly meeting with customers, suppliers, and regional staff is part of the role. They analyze market developments and significant events in their area. The role also includes effective organizational management, regional development, and overall responsibility for results. The Regional Sales Director ensures smooth cooperation between different functions and implements industry strategies and specific objectives within their region. Required qualities for the role: - Leadership and management: Ability to lead a large team and provide feedback. - Understanding and analysis of financial reports: Ability to interpret financial data for management. - Good interpersonal skills: Ability to work with various stakeholders and value diverse backgrounds. - Industry knowledge: Familiarity with the responsibility area and willingness to learn extensively about the industry (HVAC, Electrical, Industrial, Tools, and Supplies). - Mobility and communication: Willingness to travel widely and communicate regularly. - Sales orientation: Understanding sales drivers and conveying a sales-driven attitude. - Language skills: Excellent spoken and written Finnish and English are required. Additional languages, especially Swedish, are an advantage. The direct reports in this role include 8-10 sales managers. Overall, approximately 100 sales personnel work within your responsibility area across LV, IV, cold, electrical, tools, and supplies industries. In Finland, you will have about 800 colleagues.
