Quality Engineer, permanent position - Worker Kuopio

You are a professional in the machine shop industry with an eye for quality and the courage to address deviations immediately. You will influence product quality in close collaboration with customers and production, acting as a quality guardian in a manufacturing environment producing TIG-welded pipes. You will evaluate product quality, seams, and appearance, ensuring quality requirements are met at all stages. You will work closely with production, customers, subcontractors, and inspection bodies, participating in quality meetings and planning, assessing subcontractor capabilities, and handling audit-related matters. Documentation is central and will be done in English. The work mainly takes place at the Kurikka factory, with potential remote days in the future. Suitable candidates have experience in a machine shop environment, understanding of welded structures and quality requirements, good documentation skills, fluent Finnish and English, and problem-solving skills.
