Are you one of our new instructors or do you know a suitable person? We are looking for responsible and active instructors with experience in guiding children and youth. You are positive and able to manage both the group and practical matters, and most importantly: children enjoy your guidance and feel safe. What does a club instructor do? A gym instructor, or more informally a Gymi teacher, conducts club sessions according to Gymi's teaching and lesson plans. You will have access to a comprehensive digital manual and video materials, which will support your training during the club year. Additionally, we will organize a few short remote training sessions throughout the year. This is also an opportunity to develop your skills in children's physical activity! We expect from you: * At least 18 years of age * Ability to work independently * Experience in guiding children’s groups * Positive and firm group management skills We consider the following as advantages: * Experience in parkour, gymnastics, or circus * First aid skills The club instructor position is temporary and part-time. The salary is in line with youth instructor pay levels. Salary depends on skills and experience. We also pay possible travel allowances from Jyväskylä city center to schools. The instructor work begins when schools start in autumn 2026 and ends in May 2027. Gymi clubs are part of Jyväskylä’s Finnish Model for Hobby Activities. Clubs are held on weekday afternoons. The clubs end no later than 5 PM. The Gymi instructor will have a maximum of 6-8 teaching hours per week. The job is suitable for students or sole proprietors.
