Job Description
We are seeking a school assistant, primary location: Puropellon School. The position begins on 7 August 2026 and is a fixed-term employment. The school assistant supports students in classrooms and during free time activities in the school day. Currently, Puropellon School has just over 600 lower secondary students. We are located near the center of Turku with good transportation connections. Our school has seven parallel general education groups for each grade level. In addition, there is an Olympic Committee-affiliated sports class and two regional special classes. We also operate two teaching groups for newly arrived students. At Puropellon, 70 education and teaching professionals work together. We share a desire to support and help young people find their strengths and suitable educational paths after middle school. We are committed to meeting young people as individuals and supporting them. Puropellon is part of a community of innovative professionals who work with dedication and humor. The qualification requirement is a relevant vocational qualification or a previous school-level vocational qualification, or a professional or special professional qualification. Applicants must submit a criminal record extract as specified in section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act (Law on the Criminal Background Check of Persons Working with Children 504/2002).
