Hoivakoti Jampankulma offers residents around-the-clock assisted living and communal housing. We are looking for a caregiver who: - Can warmly, individually, and professionally interact with the elderly and those with memory impairments - Approaches work with an open and positive attitude and good spirits - Is capable of functioning in challenging situations, facing new challenges, even when all answers or tools are not yet available - Takes responsibility for their own work, has a strong ethical foundation, and understands that a functional and equal work community requires everyone’s contribution - Values well-being, work endurance, and taking care of their own health What we offer you: - A versatile role in a 32-place elderly care home, including assisting residents in daily activities and routines - Tasks according to the self-care nurse model, such as preparing and updating service and rehabilitation plans as needed, RAI assessments, and understanding the resident’s life course and enabling a fulfilling life - Administration of medication (practical nurses) - A unique opportunity to be involved in the startup phase of the care home. Together with an experienced manager, you will start the operations from scratch and help create the most effective practices and routines for our care home - New care home facilities - A positive and cheerful work community. Additionally, we provide: - Free coffee/tea at work and a meal benefit - Occupational health services, including one free specialist doctor visit per year - Well-being benefit To be suitable for this role, you need: - Education as a practical nurse or care aide, with knowledge available in the JulkiTerhikki and JulkiSuosikki registers - Vaccination protection against infectious diseases as required by the Communicable Diseases Act 48 for the entire employment period - Hygienic pass or readiness to obtain it at the start of employment - Fluent Finnish language skills - Suitability certificate for night work (through occupational health at the start of employment) - Criminal record extract (when working with the elderly) - Sote professional card or certification card (practical nurses) This position involves shift work, mainly night shifts. We will fill the positions during the summer until 2026 as the residents move in.
