Job Description
Do you enjoy being behind the wheel and taking care of the equipment yourself? Are you looking for a permanent job where you can drive various assignments and see different locations in the Oulu area as well as Southern Finland? We are looking for a CE license holder flatbed truck driver for a permanent position with N Rent Oy in the Oulu region. In this role, you will drive with a flatbed carrying cranes to different sites and participate in maintenance and servicing of the equipment. The work is diverse, including driving and maintenance tasks in the hall when the equipment is not in use. Your workday typically starts between 7 and 8 a.m., but sometimes earlier mornings are required. Occasionally, about once every two weeks, there will be overnight trips to Southern Finland. The equipment is well-equipped, including a refrigerator and coffee maker, making your work trips comfortable. You will use Haymonville flatbeds and swap bodies, with vehicles including models such as Scania V8. In addition to transportation tasks, you will guide customers in crane operation at the site if needed. The job emphasizes initiative and responsibility, as the driver is also responsible for the condition and daily maintenance of the vehicle. The employment is governed by the infrastructure sector collective agreement, with an average working time of 80 hours over two weeks. The hourly wage in this role ranges from 16 to 20 euros, depending on your skills and experience.
