Charge Nurse - FIREHORSE OY - Hollola, Finland

We are looking for a reliable and proactive nurse to help us build a place where residents can feel at home and staff can do meaningful work at Firehorse's new Manskiven residential service unit. This is a rare key position: you will join when the unit opens in June 2026, allowing you to shape practices, culture, daily routines, and your role during the initial phase. As the Charge Nurse, you will have overall responsibility for Manskiven together with entrepreneur Susanna Packalén. In practice: Responsible for medication management; receive medication orders, keep the medication plan up to date, and support the team in its implementation. The role includes nursing responsibilities as well as customer work. Support and advise the care team, ensuring that resident care is safe, professional, and humane. Develop unit procedures together with Susanna and the team. You will not do this alone: you will receive support from the day activity supervisor nurse at Firehorse, and you will be part of a top team sharing the same goal. What we expect from you: Nursing degree and valid professional license (Valvira). Medication authorization completed or the ability and motivation to complete it quickly. We will arrange the license at the employer's expense if needed. Responsibility, initiative, and professional skills demonstrated in daily work, not just on paper. A desire to be a genuinely good person with whom colleagues and residents enjoy interacting. Previous experience in developmental disability and special needs work, as well as leadership experience, is an advantage but not essential; the most important thing is attitude and willingness to grow into the role.
