We are looking for an active and development-minded Data Warehouse Specialist to strengthen our data management, reporting, and analytics solutions. Your tasks include maintaining and developing Pohjantähti's data warehouse and reporting solutions, technical specifications, data flows, cube modeling, analytics development, and report creation. You will work across data warehousing and reporting layers from source systems to EDW, data marts, cubes, reports, and analyses. Additionally, you will handle sales reporting and commission calculation system maintenance, troubleshooting, and inquiries. The role involves operational maintenance and new solution development to support business decision-making and customer understanding. You will influence how data is utilized and participate in system reforms and data warehouse development, contributing to significant change projects. You can develop your skills in data warehousing, reporting, analytics, automation, and cloud solutions. You should have at least two years of experience in data warehouse tasks, strong Microsoft SQL Server skills (including SSIS, cube modeling, data conversion), good SQL and data management understanding, experience with Power BI, and the ability to implement technical solutions based on business needs. Good collaboration skills, proactive and responsible work attitude, enthusiasm for learning and development, and proficiency in Finnish and English are required. Knowledge of AI, machine learning, automation, Azure, and Microsoft Fabric is a plus. A relevant degree or equivalent work experience in IT or related fields is preferred. Insurance industry experience is advantageous.
