Electrical and Automation Engineer - Luvian Saha Oy - Eurajoki, Finland

Would you like to be involved in developing the sawmill industry and ensuring production efficiency and reliability? As our long-term maintenance engineer approaches retirement, we are looking for a Electrical and Automation Engineer for a permanent position. As an electrical and automation engineer, you will be responsible for the functionality, development, and optimization of the electrical and automation systems at the sawmill. You will play a key role in ensuring continuous production and developing technical solutions. In this role, you will report to the production manager. Main responsibilities: Acting in supervisory roles in electrical maintenance activities; Maintenance, design, and development of electrical and automation systems; Troubleshooting and implementing corrective actions; Developing predictive maintenance; Planning and executing investment and development projects; Collaborating with production, maintenance, and external partners; Ensuring electrical and automation safety. We expect from you: Relevant higher education degree (e.g., electrical or automation engineering); Experience in industrial maintenance and automation and electrical systems; Electrical qualification S1 is considered an advantage; Systematic working style and ability to utilize modern information systems; Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; Willingness to learn new things and develop operations; Fluent spoken and written Finnish and English skills.
