Valkeakoski's food and cleaning services are responsible for preparing, transporting, and serving meals at the city's schools and daycares, as well as cleaning facilities at daycare centers, schools, city administration, technical center, and sports, culture, and leisure service premises. In this role, you will be responsible for food transportation from the city's own production kitchen to customer sites within the Valkeakoski area. The job includes transportation tasks as well as auxiliary kitchen duties such as dishwashing, unloading and packing goods, and cleaning the kitchen. Qualifications required include a relevant professional qualification or work experience in the field, and at least a B-class driving license. We value experience in food transportation and consider experience in professional kitchen work an advantage. The role requires the ability to work independently and responsibly, good planning skills, punctuality, and thoroughness. Proficiency in spoken and written Finnish is required. Working hours are primarily Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm. The employment follows the municipal collective agreement. The salary for this position is €2,346.42 per month. The working hours are 38.25 hours per week. A half-hour daily break is not included in working hours. The employment begins with a two-month fixed-term contract and continues as a permanent position from October 1, 2026. Selected candidates must provide a criminal record extract according to Act 504/2002 and a medical certificate of health within 30 days of the decision. A six-month probationary period applies.
