A key task is to produce financial data for the agency's management and to advise other units on financial matters. The CFO manages the agency's budget process, reporting requirements, and the preparation of financial statements. The role also includes developing financial management, cost accounting for paid services, managing contracts for notification devices, and other tasks assigned to the CFO. The CFO is responsible for the nationwide financial operations of the agency and acts as the supervisor of the finance unit.
