The City of Paimio's Hanhijoki Daycare is hiring a fixed-term Early Childhood Education Group Assistant from August 3, 2026, to May 30, 2027. Hanhijoki Daycare is a small, two-group daycare. The Group Assistant primarily works in the preschool group. The Early Childhood Education Group Assistant acts as a resource worker within the daycare's children's group. The task is to assist as a guide in the children's group. We value a basic qualification in social and health care or other medical training, as well as work experience with children. Knowledge of medication administration for children is appreciated. The appropriate salary level is €2,307.32/month. In the salary system, a level supplement is paid to those responsible for medication administration who have completed a social and health care qualification. The role requires accuracy, conscientiousness, excellent interaction skills with children, good teamwork skills, initiative, and a positive, development-oriented attitude. Applicants must present a criminal record extract as per section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act, and a tuberculosis screening. The position is subject to a four (4) month probation period. Interviews will begin during the application period.
