Chief Accountant, Espoo - Staffpoint Holding Oy

We are looking for a motivated and precise chief accountant for a temporary position for our client in Espoo. The role is a temporary assignment starting as soon as possible and expected to last until the end of January. Your role in our team You will play a central role in the overall financial management, responsible for the general ledger and related processes. Your tasks include ensuring the accuracy of financial data by recording transactions, making journal entries, and reconciling accounts and interfaces. You will collect and analyze financial data and produce reports for group and statutory reporting. You will be responsible for month-end, quarterly, and annual closing processes and maintaining an overview of the company's financial situation. You will act as a contact person for legal financial matters and actively participate in audit and tax preparations. Additionally, you will analyze financial accounts and cash flows and ensure the implementation of internal controls. In this role, you will also have the opportunity to develop financial processes, especially from the perspective of automation and digitalization. To succeed in this role You have at least 23 years of experience in general accounting and financial reporting tasks. You are familiar with financial closing processes and have experience with SAP FICO system and Microsoft tools. Experience with Journal Entry tools, BlackLine, HFM group reporting, and Power BI for reporting and analytics is valued. Experience in a shared service environment and interest in automation, RPA, and artificial intelligence is considered an advantage. Proficiency in Finnish and English is required.
