Welcome to our team at Luoto residential and institutional unit. We are looking for a director for a permanent position, starting date negotiable. Luoto is a 18-place unit offering long-term around-the-clock housing and institutional care. Luoto is divided into four interconnected units, where people with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorder live. The core of Luoto’s activities is supporting clients’ life management in various ways and supporting their individual goals. As a director, in addition to daily client assistance and guidance, you will plan, implement, develop, and evaluate group and individual activities for clients with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorder in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. You will act as a social welfare expert in client situations requiring complex services. Qualifications include a licensed social or health care professional and a relevant higher education degree in social or health care (e.g., social services, gerontology, nurse, or public health nurse) or a previous vocational qualification in the field. Experience in rehabilitative work and working with clients with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorder, as well as neuropsychiatric clients, is valued. If you lack experience, we will train and orient you for the role. The salary for this position is €2,954.62/month. Employment terms are governed by the Sote agreement. A 6-month probation period applies. We follow the vaccination requirements set by the law on infectious diseases and social and health care supervision.
