We are hiring a health nurse or registered nurse for a permanent full-time position at our Kajaani service point. The employment begins on September 1, 2026, or by agreement. Our goal is to offer university students the same range of student health services regardless of their location. We serve students through local clinics, remote consultations, and national digital services. We are developing digital services and have adopted a new service platform this year. Our customer and patient information system is Acute, and our digital service platform is BeeHealthy YTHSDigi. Our client base is friendly and committed to their care. Our work impacts the future of university students and is a vital link in ensuring their ability to study. The nurse's tasks include health meetings and examinations, managing sick visits, basic mental health work according to YTHS processes, student community work, and health promotion activities such as vaccinations, health counseling, and student health negotiations. You will be part of an expert and multidisciplinary team. We offer thorough orientation and regular training to develop your skills, flexible working hours with a total of 38 hours and 35 minutes per week, and benefits supporting well-being such as ePassi vouchers and wellness events. We also provide comprehensive occupational health services. We expect you to have a degree as a health nurse or registered nurse, sufficient experience in clinical and mental health work, good teamwork skills, and solution-oriented approach. Proficiency in Finnish plus adequate English/Swedish skills is preferred. Vaccination protection according to infectious disease law is required.
