We are hiring a gardener for a permanent position starting from August 10, 2026. We are looking for a horticulture professional with good interaction and teamwork skills, as well as practical experience in the field. The job tasks include guiding students and performing practical work outdoors, in greenhouses, and park areas. Main job duties include planning work distribution together with other gardeners and teachers, seasonal tasks such as watering, planting, maintenance, fertilizing, spraying, pruning, harvesting, packing, and sales, scheduled on-call duties on weekends and public holidays, guiding student groups during teaching sessions as a teaching partner and independently, and individual student guidance at educational institutions and during work placements. Preferred qualifications include contacts in the horticultural industry, proficient use of machinery and equipment, and experience in guiding work. Minimum requirement: B driving license. Salary according to the KVTES level pay system: salary group: gardeners, level B. The level salary is €2,770.00/month plus possible personal service years’ supplements. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract in accordance with the Act on Background Checks for Persons Working with Minors (504/2002). Before starting the position, the candidate must submit an acceptable health certificate. The position is subject to a 6-month probationary period.
