In this role, you will work as a registered nurse in the bilingual Rainbow residential unit. The unit is a hybrid facility with 22 long-term residents and 4 clients in communal housing. Your work is diverse, independent, and varied, with the well-being of clients at the center of all activities. You will work as part of a team in elderly care, where the atmosphere is open and mutual support is encouraged. As a nurse, you are an important part of a multidisciplinary community. You play a significant role in providing comprehensive and quality care for residents, supporting and guiding practical nurses and care assistants in their work. You are also responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating medication administration in collaboration with the supervising nurse and doctor. You will also plan, implement, and evaluate rehabilitative care for clients comprehensively, and contribute to the development of care quality within your unit. You are responsible for the overall care of clients, including assessment and coordination of care using the RAI system. Work mainly takes place on weekdays during morning shifts, but may also include occasional evening and weekend shifts. An active license to practice medicine (LOVe) and experience working with the elderly, as well as OMNI RAI competence, are considered advantages. The working languages are Finnish and Swedish, and we require good oral and written skills in one of these languages, as well as satisfactory skills in the other. The qualification requirement for the position is a license to practice as a registered nurse according to the Act on Health Care Professionals (559/1994).
