We are seeking a class teacher for Helsinki University’s practice school, primarily for grades 1-6 at Helsinki Normal Lyceum. CLASS TEACHER POSITION Fixed-term employment from August 10, 2026, to March 21, 2027. The position requires formal qualification in primary education. In addition to teaching, the class teacher at Helsinki Normal Lyceum will supervise teaching practice, so please include in your application your experience and education related to this. The salary for the position is based on the university practice school collective agreement at level 5 of the difficulty level scale. An additional performance-based salary component is paid. With full teaching duties, the salary ranges approximately from €4,300 to €4,500 per month. Overtime and compensation for other tasks are paid additionally. The position is filled with a six-month probation period.
