Analytics Engineer - Finavia Oyj - Vantaa, Finland

We are now looking for an Analytics Engineer to strengthen Finavia's data and analytics capabilities. In the position, you will be responsible for modeling, refining, and ensuring the usability of analytics and reporting data critical to Finavia's business. At the center of your work is supporting strategic and operational decision-making by producing consistent, reliable, and business-oriented information and metrics for Finavia's various functions. Your work includes the logical and physical modeling of analytics data, the development of data structures for the Snowflake-based analytics platform, and the implementation of reporting and analytics solutions for business needs. In the position, you translate business requirements into analytics solutions, develop common data modeling and reporting principles, and take care of data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements. You participate in projects, monitor the development of technologies, and develop operating models in cooperation with data and analytics partners. To succeed in the position, we expect strong experience in analytics data modeling, deep SQL skills, experience using the Snowflake platform, and knowledge of Data Vault architecture. You have practical experience in developing Power BI reports for business needs and a good understanding of modern data and analytics architecture, data management, and security requirements. The position requires a suitable university degree, a few years of work experience in similar positions, and oral and written skills in Finnish and English. You are a customer-oriented team player who takes responsibility, boldly develops new things, and appreciates both your own and others' work. The person selected for the position will undergo a basic security clearance and drug testing.
