Counselor, Oulu MT and Substance Abuse Treatment Center - Pohjois-Pohjanmaan Hyvinvointialue - Oulu, Finland

We are looking for a warm and skilled counselor to join our work community for work with mental health and substance abuse clients. Our service is client-centered. Our work is based on the ability to meet clients in various life situations with respect and individuality. As a counselor, you will be responsible for part of the overall process of supported work activities for clients. Your tasks include assessing clients' work and functional capacity, developing individual plans, and guiding clients in strengthening their work readiness. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary network and employers, supporting clients in job search, studies, and accessing services. The work is mobile and independent. The work is daytime work on weekdays. A driver’s license and the ability to use your own car are required. Success in this role requires experience in mental health and substance abuse work, good interaction and collaboration skills, and the ability to work independently and goal-oriented. Knowledge of the service system is also valued. We also value strong teamwork skills, flexibility, a motivating and coaching approach to clients, and genuine interest in working with mental health and substance abuse clients.
