Vaasan Vesi is seeking a construction engineer responsible for the technical and process development of the drinking water production plant and the wastewater treatment plant, as well as the implementation of investment projects. The construction engineer oversees the development of processes and technology at the water plant and wastewater treatment plant. The role includes strategic planning for long-term investments and project management as a project leader. The work is based in the offices and process facilities of the water plants, involving both indoor and outdoor work. Renovation projects are demanding, as processes cannot be halted during projects. Projects must be coordinated with the operational rhythm of the facilities. Key tasks - Conducting preliminary studies, project assessments, and technical plans - Planning and tendering projects in collaboration with the procurement department - Client-side construction management and commissioning project leadership - Preparing, presenting, and reporting on projects to the director of Vaasan Vesi and plant managers.
