Infrastructure Designer

Do you want to expand your expertise in versatile projects in the design services of Finland's largest infrastructure operator? Welcome to join the competent team at Destia! We are currently looking for several designers to become part of our Expert Services, which already includes nearly 200 people. Destia has several interesting infrastructure projects underway and starting across Finland. Project forms can be traditional design projects or collaborative projects (e.g., ST-, STk- and alliance projects). There are many opportunities! In our projects, we do for example: - Railway and light rail design - Street, road and corridor design - Traffic design - Environmental design expert tasks - Bridge design (repair and new construction) - Research of bridges and structures - Regional planning - Water supply design - Data center infrastructure design Our designers get to focus on socially significant projects and can influence the content of their own desk. With us, designers are close to the builders, which streamlines communication and information flow throughout the project. We also highly value the development of expertise, which you can acquire through new projects, competent colleagues, and training. What do you need to succeed with us? - A good attitude and desire to develop in your work - Action in accordance with Destia's values: honestly, together, renewing & succeeding - Proficiency in modern design software - Ability to prepare technical plans following industry guidelines - A university degree in the field of technology (AMK, YAMK or DI) and at least a few years of experience in design tasks in the infrastructure sector - Good Finnish language skills, English language skills are seen as an advantage We promise that at Destia: Colleagues can be found all over Finland. You can work in Helsinki (Tripla), Tampere, Turku, Kouvola, Jyväskylä, Kuopio, Oulu or Rovaniemi. In addition, we use a flexible hybrid model, which enables a smooth coordination of work and leisure.
