Full-time Physical Education Teacher - Perhon kunta - Perho, Finland

The municipality of Perho is hiring a substitute full-time physical education teacher for basic education from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2026. Subjects taught include physical education and health education for grades 7-9. Additionally, there are classes for grades 5-6 and in the high school. Qualifications are determined according to the decree on the qualifications of education personnel (986/1998). We require strong expertise in physical education and professional collaboration skills. We value good interaction and cooperation skills, an independent work approach, and proficiency with digital work methods and tools. Successful performance in the role requires a developmental work attitude. Salary and employment terms are based on the Collective Agreement for Education and Culture (OVTES). A six (6) month probationary period will be applied in the selection process. The selected candidate must provide an acceptable medical certificate of health and a criminal record extract related to work with children and young people within 30 days of receiving the decision.
