Mobile seasonal buyer with truck license for berries and mushrooms - Dalla Valle Oy

Dalla Valle Oy is seeking a mobile buyer with a truck license for the berry and mushroom season. We are looking for a conscientious, energetic, and customer-oriented worker for mobile purchasing work. In this role, you will operate a purchase vehicle at buying sites, responsible for buying, receiving, and ensuring smooth practical purchasing operations during the season. Working hours depend on opening hours and route schedules. The season typically runs from July to September. This is practical, varied seasonal work combining mobility, customer service, product reception, handling, and transportation. Job duties include traveling between purchase sites in a purchase vehicle, buying and receiving mushrooms and berries at purchase points, customer service during purchases, checking and weighing products, handling cash register and cash management, handling, moving, loading, and unloading products, transporting products with a purchase vehicle, moving pallets and products with a pump cart. We expect you to have a careful, responsible, and quick work attitude, along with good customer service skills. The role requires readiness for practical and physical work, flexibility for seasonal working days, and commitment to work throughout the season. A valid truck license is required. Knowledge of natural products, previous experience in customer service, purchasing, transportation, or receiving work, experience driving a truck, and experience with loading, unloading, and securing loads are considered advantages. A hygiene passport is also beneficial. Our main office is located in Sotkuma, Polvijärvi, where shifts start and end. The purchase routes cover a wide area of Eastern Finland. Work includes day and evening shifts depending on seasonal needs and route schedules. The employment follows the trade sector collective agreement.
