Specialist Doctor in Rehabilitation - Sofita Oy - Lappeenranta, Finland

Doctor Join Sofita's People-Centered Team! We are seeking a specialist doctor or an experienced medical licentiate for demanding rehabilitation in Lappeenranta. This is a department offering both neurological and physiatric/orthogeriatric rehabilitation. The doctor's responsibility is in the physiatric-orthogeriatric area, where patients are typically elderly recovering from orthopedic surgeries. Additionally, the department provides follow-up care and demanding rehabilitation for amputee, multi-trauma, and spinal cord injury patients. The doctor will receive strong multidisciplinary and collegial support and have the opportunity to participate in weekly meetings. Work period: 1.10.2026 - 31.9.2027. Workdays are weekdays from Monday to Friday, with working hours between 7:30 and 17:00. The work is on-site. Specialist training in a relevant field (general medicine, geriatrics, physiatry, internal medicine) or experienced medical licentiate with at least three (3) years of work in a follow-up or rehabilitation department. Familiarity with the Finnish healthcare system. Good written and spoken Finnish skills. Active work attitude, self-direction, and good organizational skills.
