We are looking for a CNC machinist for Nisula Forest Oy, as the production facilities have expanded and production is growing. The position is a long-term, permanent employment. Nisula Forest is a Finnish family business established in 1978, located in Jämsä Hall. It specializes in the design, development, and manufacturing of thinning harvesters, harvester heads, energy grapples, and other forest equipment and tools. Nisula's operations are characterized by high product quality, responsibility, human-centeredness, genuine enthusiasm for work, and a good team spirit within the workplace. Nisula's products are used worldwide. You will have the opportunity to work with various CNC-controlled machining centers – horizontal and vertical machining centers, revolver lathes, and saws. CNC machine control is via Fanuc control system. The work involves manufacturing parts and components for assembly, with flexibility to switch tasks according to production needs. Success in the machinist role requires technical skills in machining, programming ability, and an active and professional work attitude. We hope for a commitment to a long-term employment. The position can start as soon as a suitable candidate is found, either through direct recruitment or via a fixed-term agency contract. After the agency period, the intention is for the machinist to continue in a permanent position at Nisula. Proper orientation and support will be provided. Working hours are primarily weekdays from 7:00 to 15:00, 37.5 hours per week, day shift with flexible working hours. Salary is based on experience and skills. The position follows the industrial sector collective agreement.
