We are now seeking two practical nurses for permanent employment at Rinnekodit Sanervakoti. Sanervakoti provides enhanced assisted living for under-65-year-old patients with multiple illnesses. Located with excellent transport connections, a metro station is right nearby, and there is a large free parking space for employees. The unit offers 72 residents in three floors of round-the-clock assisted living. Overall, the unit cares for 77 residents. We provide concise care and attention to residents, enabling them to live according to their own daily rhythms and schedules. The role involves recognizing individual needs and ensuring high-quality care, respecting the resident’s autonomy and treating them with dignity. Responsibilities include basic care, medication administration, and rehabilitative care, and supporting residents in daily activities. We offer a thorough orientation and various trainings to ensure smooth work. Requirements include a qualification as a practical nurse and registration in Suosikki with the National Authority for Medicinal and Health Care (Lupa- ja valvontaviraston Suosikki-rekisteröintiä), a social and health care professional card (Kanta-varmennekortti) or readiness to obtain it during the probation period, valid Love licenses, ability to demonstrate medication administration competence by obtaining a medication administration permit within four months of starting and continuing during employment, willingness for three-shift work, basic Finnish language skills for documentation and interaction with residents, experience with care planning and RAIs, and vaccination protection as per infectious diseases act 48 §. Rinnekodit is a smoke-free and alcohol-free workplace. A criminal background check is conducted as required by law before employment. We offer a salary level according to pay grade G22 with €2562.61–€2901.33 plus shift differentials under the private social care sector collective agreement, an exercise/culture/wellbeing benefit, comprehensive occupational health care and extensive leisure accident insurance, community-based shift scheduling to balance work and life, the option to work a 3+4 shift model (three workdays, four days off), a dedicated onboarding mentor and a welcoming orientation, opportunities to utilize your skills and strengths, career mentoring, and a path to housing in the Helsinki area.
