Finnair is building next generation airline retailing offering through the transition from PSS to Offers and Orders and to support this development: We are now looking for a motivated and competent PRODUCT OWNER to join our team! We are offering an exciting opportunity to onboard your skills and competencies to work with Finnair Digital Revenue & Retail Solutions, Order Management team as a Product Owner. In this role you are leading and managing the development of the Retailer-Supplier model, which is the interline module in Amadeus Nevio. Transition in the airline industry from the current legacy interline solutions into the future Retailer-Supplier model will take several years. The other part of the role is the ownership of Finnair Group Booking tool. The Product Owner drives customer‑focused development of Group bookings. In addition, your responsibilities will include development and maintenance of existing solutions related to ticketing and interlining together with other stakeholders. This position is located at Finnair headquarters in Vantaa, Finland. Main responsibilities: Development: The Product Owner drives solution development within their area of responsibility. Product Owner works closely with Application leads, Product Experts, Business Owners and other product team stakeholders to prioritize and deliver key functionalities, ensuring effective integration with digital and data platforms. The role requires ability to translate business requirements into IT solutions. Maintenance: Product Owner has overall responsibility of the service level of the application, support and maintenance, regulatory requirements and compliance processes. Product Owner is also responsible for quality assurance, and continuous improvement through agile practices and clear documentation. Benchmarking and vendor management: Product Owner is responsible for benchmarking and following industry technology trends in relation to the product development and Finnair Strategy together with relevant stakeholders, influencing in various industry or vendor collaboration groups. Product Owner manages vendor and external partner relationships ensuring that the products and services are cost efficient. Change management: monitoring and supervising changes to business processes and systems. Identifying changes, coordinating training, communication and documentation. Our expectations:Deep understanding of IT and Amadeus applications, especially related to reservation, ticketing and e-ticket and EMD interline implementations. Several years of work experience with development teams. Familiarity with agile methodologies. Proven track record of driven development projects on the previously mentioned areas. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a relevant field. Experience on interlining from commercial point of view is considered an asset.
