We are now offering a fully funded PhD position in International Relations, to conduct research on the U-KNOW research project which investigates the use of open source investigation in relation to the Ukraine and Palestine conflicts. The position is for 3 years starting from 1 September 2026. The doctoral researcher will pursue a doctoral degree under supervision, focusing on conflict-related open source investigation practices, data collection, and dissertation work. The role includes representing the project, engaging in public activities, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Candidates should have a master's degree in relevant fields, motivation, and English proficiency. Knowledge of conflict dynamics, digital methods, and language skills in Arabic, Ukrainian, or Russian are advantageous.
