The Tritonia University Library is a separate institute of the University of Vaasa, providing library and information services as well as open science services to the university, Vaasa University of Applied Sciences, and Yrkeshögskolan Novia's Vaasa and Pietarsaari units. We are seeking a director responsible for developing and leading the library. The position is permanent, starting in September 2026 or as agreed. As Library Director, you will oversee the library's operations, finances, and strategy implementation. You will play a key role in supporting research, teaching, and learning. You will be supported by a steering group composed of representatives from the library agreement parties. Your main tasks include strategic and operational management, developing research and teaching support services, promoting digital and open science services, leading staff, developing skills and well-being, budgeting, and collaborating with higher education institutions and national and international networks. You will report to the Vice Rector of Research at the University of Vaasa.
