Job Description
Sasky Mänttä Regional Education Center is a multidisciplinary vocational institution employing approximately 75 staff members. The student body consists of about 750 students. We offer a professional community where collaboration and development of vocational education are carried out effectively and student-centered. We are seeking a part-time hourly teacher for a permanent position starting August 1, 2026, to teach physical education and health education, as well as maintaining work ability and well-being, which are part of the common qualification modules of vocational qualifications. The teacher's main duties include teaching students in various vocational programs, guiding students, monitoring learning progress, assessing skills, and planning and developing teaching and guidance together with the teaching team. The role also involves coaching sessions for the High-Performance Sports Academy (HPA), implemented in collaboration with Mänttä Upper Secondary School. Applicants must hold the qualification for teaching common qualification modules according to Regulation 986/1998, Section 14 (28.12.2017/1150). Good oral and written Finnish language skills are also required. If no qualified applicants apply, the position may be filled temporarily by a person who does not meet the qualification requirements.
