The work is primarily located at the Kaukajärvi health station. As a general practitioner, your role is diverse. Depending on your interests, you may have the opportunity to work in outpatient care as well as in sectors such as child health and school health services. Additionally, you can choose to work as a doctor in the digital clinic as part of your duties. We support continuity of care through a personal doctor model, with a designated nurse pair supporting you. According to Pirha's on-call duty requirements, the work also includes evening shifts (Monday-Thursday 16:00-20:00), approximately 1-2 times per month. There may also be shifts at the digital clinic and the Hatanpää urgent care on weekends and public holidays. On-call duties are paid according to the doctor’s contract with hourly wages increased by on-call coefficients, or alternatively, hours can be accumulated as flexible hours. You are eligible for the position if you are a licensed doctor in Finland with a specialization in general medicine. Good spoken and written Finnish skills are required. Previous experience as a health center doctor, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to commit to long-term work in a health center are valued. If no fully qualified general practitioners apply, final-year general medicine residents may also be considered. Additional information: - Start date to be agreed upon. - The position has a six-month probation period. - The work is full-time and daytime work. Part-time work can also be negotiated. - The selected candidate must submit the required health certificates within one month of starting, and a pre-employment health check will be conducted by Pirte occupational health. - You must also have valid vaccination protection according to section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act (1227/2016).
