Project Manager, Business & Wellness Bridge Jyväskylä -project - Jyväskylän kaupunki - Remote - Global

The Jyväskylä city is seeking a project manager for the Business & Wellness Bridge Jyväskylä project. The project supports growth of SMEs by developing new business opportunities in sports, health, and well-being sectors, and sports events. It involves creating a proactive, repeatable model involving early SME participation in event planning and applications. The project manager will oversee the entire project, including financial management, administration, reporting, and stakeholder collaboration at local, national, and international levels. The role emphasizes strategic development, broad stakeholder cooperation, and establishing a sustainable business model. Key tasks include overall coordination, financial and administrative management, stakeholder cooperation, development of service concepts, and dissemination of results. The ideal candidate has experience in large event organization, business development, holds a relevant higher education degree, and has experience managing large projects. Excellent Finnish and English skills, sports event networks, and proficiency with city software are required. The position is temporary, full-time, with a salary of €4268.08/month plus up to 8% experience bonus, and involves travel. The contract runs from September 1, 2026, to April 30, 2028.
