Job Description
The position of School Attendance Supervisor is filled for the period from August 10, 2026, to June 5, 2027, with a workweek of 29 hours. Rakokiven Primary School, located in the multi-purpose building Loisto, is an elementary school with approximately 450 students, situated in Rakokivi shopping center with good transportation links. In addition to the school, Loisto houses Rakokivi Daycare, Nastola Library, and several other users. Besides the new building, excellent sports and physical activity facilities are available within walking distance. Our school has strong expertise in learning support. In addition to education, we value the applicant's willingness and ability to work in a team. Interpersonal skills, flexibility, and suitability for the work community influence the selection. The selection is based on suitability and education. The role may also include medical tasks. We require the applicant to have at least a suitable secondary education qualification (e.g., school assistant, practical nurse with a specialization in children and youth, youth worker, or special education teacher for children and youth) or a specialized vocational qualification in school attendance supervision. The selected candidate must present a criminal background check as required by law 504/2002 before starting the job. A drug test certificate may also be requested. The employment is subject to a four-month probation period. During school holidays, the employer is not obligated to provide work. These holiday periods are unpaid leave.
