School Assistant - Ilmajoen kunta - Ilmajoki, Finland

We are seeking a temporary school assistant for the municipality of Ilmajoki for the 2026-2027 school year. The role includes supporting students in need of assistance during lessons and guiding activities in the after-school program. Qualifications required are a vocational qualification as a school assistant / guidance counselor, a basic degree in social and health care, or other relevant qualifications. The position requires perseverance, good communication skills, and an open mind. Basic knowledge of information and communication technology and experience working with students with special needs are considered advantages. The role demands teamwork skills and flexibility. We value change management skills, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude. The employment is subject to a trial period, which is half the duration of the employment contract.
