Specialist (Security Unit, Security Work Team) - Rikosseuraamuslaitos

The position is located within the operational responsibility area of the Criminal Sanctions Agency, in the security unit, security work team. The main tasks of the unit include coordination, guidance, and development of surveillance, inspection, and security work, risk management, as well as preparedness and contingency planning. The specialist coordinates and guides the Criminal Sanctions Agency's risk management, surveillance, and security work by providing high-quality expert information and developing operations. The role involves preparing and updating plans, instructions, and recommendations related to risk management and security, as well as training units on these topics. The specialist participates in preparedness and contingency planning, investigating security deviations, and coordinating and developing support patrols and prisoner transports. This is an expert role that requires the ability to work independently but in cooperation with various units and stakeholders. As a specialist, you will collaborate with different parts of the Criminal Sanctions Agency as well as with domestic and international authorities and expert networks. Your work includes providing guidance and advice to authorities. The specialist also participates in prisoner permit considerations, such as preparing and presenting permits for long-term prisoners and security section placements. The work involves operational units.
