Your role will be within the Bank of Finland b4s communications unit and its stakeholder communication team. The position of Communication Specialist is a fixed-term temporary position as a substitute during parental leave from September 1, 2026, to August 31, 2028. The role is classified in the Bank of Finland b4s salary system at level 16 (task-specific salary component 44,59/month). An additional performance and professional competence-based pay component of up to 48% of the task-specific salary may be paid. The personal component is determined based on the selected candidate b4s experience and skills, typically ranging from about 10 b0 a025% initially. What do we expect from you? - Several years of experience in demanding communication tasks. - Strong expertise in media relations and managing media contacts. - Deep understanding of multi-channel, multilingual, and understandable communication. - Experience supporting organizational leadership and experts in effective communication. - Skilled content creator and editor of professional texts. - Proven success in utilizing social media. - A relevant higher university degree. - Excellent Finnish and English language skills, good Swedish skills. - Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
