Welder (mag) for a workshop - Worker Kainuu Oy - Kajaani, Finland

Are you familiar with MAG welding and looking for work in the Kainuu region? Would you like to work in a stable workshop environment where your skills are appreciated and the team is solid? We are seeking MAG welders for our client’s workshop located in Kajaani. Your job will involve welding black iron (4-15 mm) according to drawings. Tasks include diverse workshop welding, emphasizing careful workmanship, good visual reading skills, and independent work attitude. Welding certifications are not required at the start of employment, but you should be prepared to pass small and overhead welding tests at the beginning. Work is performed in two shifts. The work can start as soon as possible by agreement. The employment is available at least until autumn 2026. Suitable candidates may be offered permanent positions from autumn onwards. Positions will be filled as soon as suitable candidates are found. You are suitable for this job if you have: Previous welding experience (MAG welding) and/or vocational training in the field, Good visual reading skills, Good Finnish language skills, Ability to work independently and responsibly, Good teamwork skills. It is a plus (but not essential) if you also have: Previous experience in similar workshop welding tasks, Valid welding certifications, Experience in an industrial production environment. We offer you: Salary according to the collective agreement or better, paid on time. Your hourly wage will be between €10.57 and €15, depending on your skills and experience.
