Study-related Internship

We offer internship opportunities in Alko stores for sales and customer service roles across Finland. We expect interns to be customer‑service oriented, eager to learn, and genuinely interested in store work. To be eligible, the applicant must be a student, the internship must be part of a degree program, the intern must be of legal age at the start, and must speak Finnish. The internship typically lasts 8–12 weeks and is unpaid; however, interns receive a daily meal benefit. Through the internship you gain valuable customer service experience, learn about responsible alcohol sales, and build product knowledge from Alko’s wide selection. We also help you develop important work life skills and networks. We strive to provide meaningful work and sufficient training for each intern; however, not all applicants can be offered a placement. There are many success stories of interns who continued with Alko as seasonal or permanent employees. To apply, send an open internship application including: your school and study focus, the city where you want to intern (and the specific store if known), internship duration, preferred start date, and any requirements you want the internship to cover.
