Our main operational area is the specialized healthcare of the HUS consortium and the primary healthcare of the well-being areas belonging to HUS. We also manage laboratory and imaging operations for the Kymenlaakso and South Karelia well-being areas. We operate across eight medical specialties. We are responsible for several nationally specialized studies as well as research and education at university hospitals. Diagnostic tests play a central role in confirming, ruling out, treating, monitoring, and screening diseases. Approximately 3,400 laboratory and imaging professionals work at HUS Diagnostics Center across more than 150 locations. We are hiring a laboratory nurse for a permanent position at the Diagnostics Center, at the Myyrmäki or Kerava health center laboratory. As a laboratory nurse in the health center laboratory, you will play an important role in pre-analytical processes. You will influence the quality and patient safety of sample collection, which is a key goal for us. Your workday will include customer advice, blood sampling, gynecological sampling, and taking ECGs. We emphasize personalized onboarding and maintaining and developing skills. Depending on your interests, you will also have the opportunity to handle various responsibilities. Salary is determined according to the SOTE agreement. Additionally, we offer performance-based pay, which can increase your monthly earnings. The work begins on September 1, 2026, or by agreement.
