Practical Nurse, Competence Unit, Elderly Services Kuusamo - Pohjois-Pohjanmaan Hyvinvointialue - Kuusamo, Finland

The competence unit has a permanent position available for a practical nurse in elderly services in Kuusamo. The area includes the residential unit Kotiranta, the rehabilitation unit Katrinkoti, communal housing Hiltantupa, home rehabilitation, and home care. The practical nurse in the competence unit covers for absences in the units. The work involves two-shift work, including weekends. The position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to use a personal car. Success in the role requires an independent work attitude, flexibility, and the ability to act quickly in changing situations. The qualification requirement is competence according to the Decree on Healthcare Professionals (564/1994) or equivalent previous qualification. We will verify original diplomas and employment certificates during the interview. Applicants must be registered in the register maintained by the National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health (Terhikki and/or Suosikki). Additionally, we require current medication administration skills or completion within three (3) months of starting employment. Interviews will be held in week 24. Before starting the position, the selected person must present a criminal record extract issued under the Act on the Supervision of Social and Health Care (741/2023).
