We are seeking an early childhood education teacher for a permanent position at Aurora Kindergarten. Our kindergarten has 6 different groups. In the coming term, you will work in the 6-year-olds' Maple group. The most important thing in our kindergarten is to create a safe, predictable daily life for the child, where play in various small groups is at the heart of the activity. We want to provide children with the joy of play and experiences of success. Our staff is united by strong professionalism and an understanding of the significance of early childhood education work. As an early childhood education teacher, you will be responsible for building the operational culture and learning environment of your child group, planning, implementing, developing, and evaluating pedagogical activities, and supporting children's individual learning together with the group's other teacher and childcare worker. Please apply as soon as possible! This workplace is accessible. Eligibility requirement: Eligibility according to the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018). At least a Bachelor of Arts in Education degree that includes training as an early childhood education teacher, or a university of applied sciences degree in social services and health (early childhood education), or a previous equivalent college-level degree, e.g., a kindergarten teacher or social educator degree (Act 272/2005 and Decree no. 608/2005). Recently graduated early childhood education teachers will also be considered. We require fluent oral and written skills in Finnish. The person selected for the position must present a criminal record extract as referred to in Section 6.2 of the Criminal Records Act. The Communicable Diseases Act requires the clarification of tuberculosis infection risk for those working with children under school age. We hope you have skills in planning, implementing, and evaluating pedagogical activities and strong teamwork skills. You are familiar with the basics of Espoo's early childhood education plan and understand the importance of broad-based competence and learning areas in early childhood education activities.
