Job Description
We are looking for a school assistant at Kilonpuisto School in the special education class of the upper comprehensive school. As a school assistant, you will work in the upper comprehensive school's special class, which has 10 students. You will work closely with the special class teacher. Your duties include guiding and assisting students during the school day. Join a warm and professional team that works student-centered. Kilonpuisto School is a multicultural, comprehensive school with approximately 700 students. The position is located at the Kutojantie campus of Kilonpuisto School. At the Kutojantie campus, the 8th and 9th grades of Kilonpuisto School and the 7th grades of the new Kera School will operate next academic year. The position is shared between both schools. School name and address: Kilonpuisto School, Kutojantie campus, Kutojantie 2, Espoo. Working hours: Weekly hours may vary annually based on the resources allocated to assistant services. During the 2026-2027 school year, the weekly working hours are 30 hours/week, with a salary of €1,831.48/month. The position is fixed-term from August 12, 2026, to June 6, 2027. Qualifications: Completion of a professional qualification as a school assistant or other suitable separately defined education. The role requires skills in guiding a student group and engaging with young people in school routines. Good communication and collaboration skills are also required. Applicants must present a criminal record extract as specified in the Criminal Records Act, section 6.2. Experience working with early adolescents is appreciated.
